Training Swords (Iaito)

I am still working with the Hanbo and my goal is to become better with that tool before I embark on the path of discovery with the Japanese sword. I find that much of my training with the Hanbo will carry over to the sword -- especially reflex training.

I purchased a training sword from Cheness Cutlery a few months back. I found a reseller that had this model for $149:

When I have time and find additional money I'll pick up the partner to the larger blade, this sword:

I find the quality of the first sword to be very good. The initial problem was a very pointy end which would cause problems during training. Sensei corrected this problem with a grinding wheel, the rest of the sword is pretty safe.
